The Wilderness is located 10 miles northeast of Branson, MO. The last eight and one-half mile of trail proceed generally southwest following Gold Mine Hollow, the ridge above Kelly Hollow, and Fox Hollow before ending on Forest Service Road 3152 above Hurricane Creek. Even the home of the Mizzou Tigers, Columbia, Mo., is an easy day trip away from the campground. All campsites feature a 20/30/50 ampere service on each site. In addition, there are 7 float camps designated on the river to provide overnight camping for river users, most of these are only accessible by boat.
